WHAT IS GOING WRONG???
Admit it weekends meant comedy nights with Kapil. Finally, there was something worth watching on Indian television. Such was our dedication to the show that we used to watch all the repeated telecasts also.
The only desi show we had to flaunt to the kids who used to show off in their fake American accents about the American comedies.
But somewhere along the line the show lost its charm. It is losing out in the race.
Let’s ponder over what is going wrong in our beloved show.
Too much of NAVJOT SINGH SIDHU
He has the best job on the show. Just sitting and laughing at the “not so funny” jokes. But now we have got bored of all his one liners. A change would be good. We don’t mind a different celebrity
‘Tweenty two-year hot and sexy girl.’
“Have we started laughing… nope still didn’t.
Simply because it’s NOT FUNNY ANYMORE
SHAGUN KI PAPI
This was actually funny in initial episodes. But now it has become a repetitive thing. Like we know that this is going to be in every episode. Also, it is out of humour now.
KAPIL’S WIFE LIPS
This one is the “script saving” joke. So anytime, Kapil feels that the scene in the script is slagging. He starts to joke about his wife’s lips. We are tired of hearing about the lippy lips.
SCRIPTED AUDIENCE QUESTIONS
It is not a brain that the questions of the audience are not scripted. The people in the audience will ask the most boring questions and will ask for most weird requests from the celebrities. That makes us feel like ‘what the hell!!’
NO BIG MOVIES
The big stars coming for the movie promotions add to the glory of the show. But now the movie industry is going through the rough phase. No big budget movies coming up. This is badly affecting the show.
THE NEVER ENDING RE RUNS
Anything which is offered more in proportion loses its value. The endless reruns on various channels gravely contributed to the dropping TRPs. Now we all know the jokes of the show by heart. And we don’t get amused by them that often.
