Well according to the recent news, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have been asked by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology to block over 800 porn websites. All the websites were reviewed and found to be spreading anti-social activities as per the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology. Letters were sent to ISPs to block them under the section 79 of the IT Act.
Several popular websites like Pornhub.com, Brazzers.com, Redtube.com, Bangbros.com have already been blocked and the websites been replaced with a single line message:
“This site has been blocked as per the instructions of Competent Authority”
We tried accessing the websites through several providers including Vodafone, MTNL, Airtel and were unable to get the access. However, there is still a chance to access the websites through Reliance.
The message is not yet reflecting on all web sites and some could still be accessed and there has been no official Government announcement on this till this moment, but we got a scanned copy of the letter check it out yourself.
This is a 17-page letter which was given to the ISPs by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology.
